5. Principal’s Cup 2018
It all began like a dream, but ended like a fairy tale for the GCL Football team, christened the Spotless boys of GCL, as the team made her way into the Finals of Lagos State Principals Cup 2018.
Rewarded with the Bronze medal after a miraculous circumstance jubilated, danced, and celebrated joyously on the Turf of Agege Township Stadium, venue of the final match.

Worthy of note, is the contribution of GCLOBA to the team. From the onset, the team lacked nothing, as members of GCLOBA ensured the team was well taken care of, and had all the team needed to succeed. The players were camped, football boots were provided, comfortable transportation was provided on all match days, supporters were mobilised to motivate the team. In providing support, the GCLOBA proved themselves as the 12th player for GCL.
At the end, the GCL team, GCLOBA, and all within the GCL family can look back and be proud at the achievement made in 2018. It was the first of its kind in the history of our GCL Alma Mater. This is a sign of greater things to come in 2019 and beyond.
